Ebenezer3 Delano (Philip2, Philippe1) b. Duxbury 1675 (Delano p.106); d. Pembroke, bef. 17 May 1706, when he is called dec. in a deed.

He m. Duxbury 29 Dec. 1699 Martha Simmons, b. Duxbury 17 Nov. 1677 ; d. Lebanon CT 10 Dec. 1754 in 79th yr. ; dau. of John and Mercy (Pabodie) Simmons; desc. of Pilgrims John Alden and William Mullins. Samuel West and Martha West (signed by her mark) were among those who signed the settlement of the estate of John Simmons, dated 11 Feb. 1715/16. The will of Mercy Simmons, dated 26 Sept. 1728, named dau. Martha among others.

Philip Delano gave his son Ebenezer the land, "my father Phillep deceased, gave me at Pine Point" on which to build a house. Philip Delano later deeds the same land to his grandson Joshua Delano, only son of Ebenezer, dec. Thomas Delano, brother of Philip the grantor, owned the other half.

Martha (Simmons) Delano m. (2) Duxbury 20 June 1709 Samuel West , b. Duxbury 23 Dec. 1672 ; d. prob. Lebanon in 1763; son of Samuel and Triphosa (Partridge) West. Samuel West lived in Duxbury (now Pembroke). After 1723 he lived in Lebanon where he was one of the organizers in 1730 of the Goshen Church. Samuel and his second wife Martha had children: Amos, 29 March 1710; Nathan, 18 Aug. 1711; Sarah, 8 Nov. 1712; and Moses, 4 March 1715/16.

On Dec. 28 1714 Martha West of Duxborough, guardian of her son Joshua Delanoe, chose her brother John Simmons to act on behalf of her son in the second division of common lands in Duxborough and Pembroke.
