Hannah 3 Abell, (Benjamin2, Robert1) born January 15, 1679; died June 17, 1756; married Ebenezer Metcalf April 28, 1702 at Norwich, Conn., born February 14, 1680 at Dedham, Mass., died November 15, 1755, son of Jonathan Metcalf and Hannah Kenric, daughter of John Kenric. Jonathan was the son of Michael Metcalf and Mary Fairbanks, daughter of John Fairbanks. Ebenezer had a deed from Caleb Abell to a tract of land in Lebanon, Conn., one side bounded by the town lines of Norwich and Lebanon, and north of the village of Bozrahville, Conn. He or his sons appear to have lived on this land. The family had several houses and lived in the locality of Norwich and Lebanon for many years.

  1. Ebenezer, b. Apr. 3, 1703; m. Thankful Delano; both members of Goshen Society Church, 1st Church of Lebanon. She joined Feb. 1730.

  2. Benjamin, b. Mar. 12, 1704—5; m. Sarah Abell. (See No. 48.)

  7. Jabez, b. Nov. 30, 1718; d. Nov. 15, 1794; m. Sybil Hyde Dec. 11, 1753, b. Apr. 16, 1731, d. Nov. 5, 1790.

  8. Lucy, b. Dec. 25, 1713; m. John Baldwin, May 27, 1734, son of Thomas and Abigail (Lay) Baldwin.
